St Agnes Lodge is a grade II* listed 17th century property. The building had been insensitively covered with cement render which was beginning to crack and fail. The practice was asked to prepare a scheme of repairs and alterations to the building including the removal of the previous cementitious mortar and its replacement with lime mortar. The practice has
also designed replacement gates and gateposts for the street entrance to the
house.
This work was carried out in association with a buildings archaeologist, a structural engineer and a damp and timber conservation specialist.
