The Paul Hewitt Architect Practice was formed in June 2001. Prior to setting up the practice Paul Hewitt worked for Martin Stancliffe Architects, a well-established nationally known conservation practice and now part of Purcell MIller Tritton, from 1989 to 2001, the latter six years as associate with the practice. During this time he worked on a number of large conservation contracts including major works at St.Paul's Cathedral, London, as Project Architect for the Surveyor to the Fabric, and undertook major repair contracts to grade I and 2* listed buildings.

Since setting up the practice Paul Hewitt has worked on a considerable variety of projects in the areas of alteration, conservation and ecological design and also works alongside other practices, such as the Ecological Architecture Practice, Nick Cox Architects and Hamid van Koten . The practice also works with teams of appropriate consultants and interior designers where needed on projects to meet the specific requirements in each case.

Take a look at some of our projects. We aim to produce healthy and beautiful buildings and spaces with low environmental impact and low energy use.
